- Plain Flour (4 oz)
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Pint Milk
- Pinch of Salt
- Butter (to fry)
Add the egg, milk and sifted flour to a mixing bowl and mix using a whisk until they form a thin batter mix. Add a pinch of salt and mix again.
Heat a pan and add a small amount of butter. Make sure the butter covers most of the pan to prevent sticking. Add the batter and move the pan to ensure the batter covers the whole surface, forming a circular shape.
Fry for 1 – 3 minutes until golden.
Cover with a topping of your choice (Golden Syrup is the best topping for everything I think personally.)
